North Yorkshire Forum for Voluntary Organisations (NYFVO) is a registered charity formed in 1986, and the sub-regional infrastructure organisation for York and North Yorkshire. The Forum exists to promote, develop and support new and existing forms of voluntary and community action; and to ensure that their views and interests are well represented.

The Forum provides a range of services and support to voluntary organisations, community groups and charities in York and North Yorkshire - for further information about what we do please follow the links to the left.

Employment Advice Service

Supported by the BIG Lottery Fund, NYFVO now offers a full time HR advice service. The Employment Advice Team can help voluntary and community organisations in York and North Yorkshire by providing a telephone and email advice line, providing employers with advice, information and training...
