Governace Training

The Forum recognises that it may be difficult for Trustees to access training courses in our programme which are on fixed dates and times, so in response to this we also offer in-house training for management committees across York and North Yorkshire. 

These sessions are delivered at the most suitable time and venue for the Committee, and sessions can cover the areas listed below:
  • The role and responsibilities of Management Committees
  • Understanding the Committees legal responsibilities as an employer
  • The legal responsibilities of Charity Trustees
  • Understanding procurement and contracting.
Each session is bespoke and therefore designed to build on the current level of knowledge and skills of your management committee.  Each of the above sessions run for approximately 2 hours and the price is inclusive of preparation, handouts, travel and delivery.
