Independus Roadshow events

Independus is the Centre for Independent Living (CIL) in Hambleton and Richmondshire. We offer our services to all people with any impairment, carers, family and others interested in promoting disability issues.

Together with both Scarborough Disability Action Group and Whitby Disability Action Group we are in the process of putting the framework together for the North Yorkshire CIL. Services we will be providing in the near future will be based around Direct Payments, Brokerage, help with employing Personal Assistants etc. This service will be for any individual within North Yorkshire.

We are holding a series of Information Roadshows at the following venues, and we hope that you will be able to come along and meet us:

Thirsk Town Hall (9am to 12 noon)
