York and North Yorkshire Partnership Unit (YNYPU)

York and North Yorkshire Partnership Unit is an independent unit which has been set up by partners across York and North Yorkshire to establish economic development priorities for the sub-region and co-ordinate external funding, including Yorkshire Forward and European funds.

•    Learning and Skills Council 
•    National Parks
•    North Yorkshire County Council

•    York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce
•    Yorkshire Forward
•    Yorkshire Tourist Board

The work of the York and North Yorkshire Partnership Unit includes:

•    Promoting effective partnership working
•    Orchestration of advocacy for the sub region
•    Maximising funding available to the sub region
•    Supporting European funding programmes
•    Developing new sources of funding  
•    Co-ordinating and commissioning research and intelligence
•    Servicing the Partnership Executive
